Growing Salon looking to add a couple talented stylist to growing team! Current openings for experienced cosmetologist (hair stylist) as well as Assistants who will be able to work with us full-time or part-time. Excellent for driven and client focused professionals looking to further grow their business as well as grow within the salon. Strong call and walk-in volume!
Who we’re looking for:
1. Experienced Hair Stylist (Commission)
• Seeking talented Licensed Hair Stylists. This position can be part-time or full-time.
Requirements:
•Have a currently valid California license for Cosmetology.
• At least one year experience as a licensed hair stylist
• Having a partial clientele list is a plus but we will provide clients as well.
2. Hair Color Assistant
• Seeking a full-time or part-time Color Assistant who is energetic, service oriented and a team player! This position is for the individual who already has a full understanding of haircutting techniques but is ready to take the next step in their career by learning advanced hair color techniques (foilayage, balayage, color corrections etc) from our team members.
• Creative individuals who are willing to work hard to get ahead in their career and have a desire to learn.
• You’ll also be permitted to take clients.
Minimum Requirements:
• Must hold and maintain a current cosmetology license in the state of California
• Professional appearance
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Availability to work during normal business hours
Compensation
• Hair Stylist: Commission
• Color Assistant: Guaranteed Hourly Pay with possible Commission rate.
• 20% Commission on Retail Sales
• Continuing education
• Opportunity of increased rates
