The Role:

The Parking Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the parking and traffic staff within the venue. This role works on show days as well as administrative hours in the office to hire, train, and schedule staff. Seasonal role is expected to run from March-Nov/December 2022.

Job Functions:

· Ensure all parking areas are setup correctly according to approved traffic plan. Ensure parking areas are safe, clean and orderly and maximizes the space usage of all parking areas.

· Schedule, direct and supervise parking staff and other employees performing parking services.

· Provide guest services by greeting and assisting guest and responding to guest inquiries and complaints.

· On an ongoing basis lead and train staff to include assisting in staffing positions to ensure that all staff members are well-informed on event specific details.

· Ensure staff receive all necessary breaks.

· Ensure compliance with all parking department and venue policies and procedures to include all safety regulations.

· Show CARE by participating in venue recycling efforts before, during and after the show.

· Oversee productivity and work assignments of the parking staff and communicates with the Operations Manager any challenges and status of all assignments prior to the conclusion of the shift.

· Assign and schedule team members to specific duties.

· Role model and enforce safety, health, parking and security priorities.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· At least 2 years in Guest Services, Parking, and/or a similar role. Previous experience in Parking and/or Traffic Management is highly preferred.

· Available to work all shows for 2022 season

· Current drivers license and insurance required

· Creative problem solving skills, excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

· Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy

· A strong-sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs

· Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+ and occasional sitting
