We are looking for candidates that are available throughout all of 2021, and that are available to teach In-Person at our location. Mathnasium is open 2pm-7pm, Monday -Thursday, and from 11am-3pm on Saturdays. Instructor must be available to work a minimum of 2 weekdays, preferably 3-4 weekdays, Monday-Thursday. Shifts end between 5pm-7pm. We are looking to fill the position as soon as possible.

Math Instructor / Tutor:

A math-only learning center in Diamond Bar has an opening for a math instructor to work with students in K-12th grade. Curriculum and materials are pre-determined for each student, and instructor will apply the teaching methods presented during training. Instructor will also help students with their homework and test preparation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Exceptional math skills through Algebra I
  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to professionally interact with students and parents
  • Energetic and confident personality
  • Should have basic knowledge of high level math, including Geometry, Algebra 2, Trig, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus; knowledge of these subjects is helpful. The more you know, the better.
