Sportball is looking for enthusiastic, energetic, sports-oriented people who love working with children to join our coaching team.

Positions are part-time, year-round, long-term.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR RELIABLE INDIVIDUALS TO JOIN OUR TEAM FOR A MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR!

Current Hours & Locations we are looking to fill:

Diamond Bar

Tuesday's

  • 1:45pm - 4:00pm

Wednesday's

  • 1:45pm - 4:00pm

Saturday's

  • 8:45am - 11:00am

Sunday's

  • 8:45am - 1:00pm

Additional hours will be available in our South Bay location, and at future dates throughout Orange County if desired.

If you are looking for a short term job, this is NOT the position for you. You build a relationship with the children you work with who count the number of sleeps until they see their coach again.

Sportball coaches are provided initial and ongoing training in our methodology and practices.

Sportball is a sports program that introduces children ages 16 months - 7 years old to eight sports (soccer, hockey, basketball, baseball, football, volleyball, tennis and golf). Classes for ages 7 years - 12 years focus on game play development giving our players a competitive edge.

  • Comfortable and enjoy being around younger children (previous experience as a nanny, babysitter, have siblings, are a parent, teacher, coach, etc)
  • Have my own transportation
  • Can pass a Live Scan Background Check
  • Am outgoing and energetic
  • Am reliable and punctual
  • Enjoy interacting with people
  • Am comfortable around parents of children I am working with
  • Like to have fun and laugh
  • Want to earn income being outdoors, working with kids, playing sports and enjoying what I do
  • Previous employer would provide a recommendation based on my time with them or would be eligible for rehire.

COMPENSATION

  • Paid training at $20 per hour
  • $22 per coaching hour, with opportunity for multiple raises during the first year, and continuously

  • FUTURE Mornings 9:00am-12:00pm MAY BE AVAILABLE
  • FUTURE Afternoons 1:00-6:00pm MAY BE AVAILABLE
  • Weekends Saturdays & Sundays 8:00-2:00pm
  • You MUST be available AT LEAST 1 WEEKEND DAY along with 2 + weekdays
